AWiB Ethiopia: Association of Women in Boldness AWiB Ethiopia is a membership-driven organization and networking platform, established in 2010, with a mission to unleash the leadership and entrepreneurial potential of women across Ethiopia. The Association of Women in Boldness (AWiB) is the product of two dynamic and magnificent women, Nahu Senay Girma and Roman Kifle. AWiB provides a dynamic space where mid-career women, business owners, entrepreneurs and emerging leaders can come together to grow personally and professionally through connection, mentorship, and collective learning. Through regular networking events, workshops, and forums, AWiB fosters meaningful exchange between emerging and established women leaders, enabling experience-share, peer-learning, and mutual empowerment. The organization’s aim is to nurture bold, innovative and confident women who are ready to lead helping them transform ambition and potential into purposeful action and impact. With a focus on leadership development, professional growth, and the creation of strong support networks, AWiB Ethiopia seeks to strengthen the representation and influence of women in business, entrepreneurship, and leadership roles contributing to broader social and economic transformation in Ethiopia.

Haset Women Leadership Program
Haset Women Leadership Program Igniting Authentic Leaders: Cultivating Lasting Sisterhood The Haset Women Leadership Program, initiated by the Packard Foundation, developed by Emerge plc, and implemented by AWiB aims to redefine leadership and elevate women to their potentials. Haset is on a mission to bring women in hoards to all aspects of leadership roles. Haset focuses on addressing the gender gap in CSO leadership through Networking, Sisterhood, Visibility, Communication, and Self-promotion. Haset is a one-year CSO women leadership pilot program.
MERI
MERI Nurturing Emerging Leaders MERI is a leadership and mentorship program launched by AWiB to empower young women — especially senior female university students and recent graduates — by equipping them with leadership skills, employability tools, and a supportive mentoring network.
